Hello! I am Alicen. I am from Seattle and have lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life. I have a BA in International Development focusing on Africa, and expanded into the UX/UI sphere through General Assembly’s UX/UI Design Immersive. My expertise lies in the realm of non-profit development, problem solving, analytics, and strategy, with a strong passion for making a positive impact. I thrive collaborating and working in teams, but also love to take ownership and work independently.

I am an UX/UI Designer who finds joy in strategy and problem-solving. I am constantly seeking new experiences and exploring the world (through travel or virtually), constantly expanding my horizons. With a solution-driven mindset and a mission-oriented approach, I strive to make a significant impact through my strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.

In my free time enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my three cats. I love being outside enjoying the sun and fresh air as much as I can; kayaking, SUPing, hiking, picnicking, and wine tasting. I love to travel and explore new places whether they are around my home states of Washington and Oregon, or as far as Europe and Africa!
